<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which controls body fluid to let it flow from one area of a patient into another one, and a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises an implantation shunt system and a system controller, wherein the implantation shunt system may have a control valve for controlling the flow of the body fluid, a sensor element for measuring the physiological features of a patient, and an electric mechanical valve actuator constructed to control the resistance of the valve; the implantation shunt system may communicate electrically with the system controller; and the system controller generally receives the physiological features of the patient and may be constructed to work the electric mechanical valve actuator for controlling the resistance of the valve.
