<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-output axial gap-type rotary machine in which permanent magnets are firmly fixed without reducing the amount of magnetic flux. <P>SOLUTION: The axial gap-type rotary machine is provided with a housing 19, a rotary shaft 11 freely rotatably supported in the housing, rotary disks 12a and 12b rotatable in one body together with the rotary shaft having the rotary shaft 11 as center axis, a pair of rotors 15a and 15b each equipped with several permanent magnets 13a and 13b, and stators 18 each equipped with a plurality of coils 16 arranged in concentric circular state with a space between them; and the axial gap-type rotary machine is made to have a structure in which the rotary disk has a recessed part 21 on the surface opposed to the stator, and the permanent magnet is fitted in the recessed part so as to have a projected part from the surface of the rotary disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
