PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a recording of shock to a camera even at the time of camera power off. SOLUTION: A camera has a camera system circuit portion 20 connected to an electric power supply 10 through an open-close switch 36, a control portion 31 controlling the camera system circuit portion 20 always connected to the electric power supply 10 and performing an on-off control of the open-close switch 36, a shock sensor 6 detecting a magnitude and a direction of a shock added, a clocking means 34 counting time and date, and a memory 33 recording data of a shock detection time and date counted by the clocking means 34 when the shock sensor 6 has detected a shock and data of a magnitude and a direction of the shock.
