PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast recording device that securely views a target program to be viewed. SOLUTION: A RAM 12 of an HDD recorder includes a candidate storage section 121 which makes program name information on a retrieval candidate program being a candidate program whose rebroadcasting is to be retrieved associated with a decision period P1 and a reference date and time T0, and prestore the program name information. An MPU 11 includes: a program acquisition section 114 which acquires EPG information through a reception section 15; an early broadcast decision section 115 which causes the program acquisition section114 to acquire the EPG information for each preset predetermined period, and decides whether the acquired EPG information includes the broadcasting start date and time T1 of a program having the same program name information as the program name information of the retrieval candidate program stored in the candidate storage section121 in the judgment period P1 from the reference date and time T0; and a rebroadcast setting section 116 which sets the program name information as program name information of a target program to be retrieved when it is decided that the broadcasting start date and time is included.
