PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting vibration, enabling a frequency and a detection level which are suitable respectively, to be set simply. SOLUTION: The device for detecting vibration comprises at least a case having a hollow part; an elastic body which is inserted into the hollow part and behaves in an elastic motion; a weight which is held by the elastic body and set at a fixed height; an element to be detected which is disposed on an upper recessed part of the weight; a detection element for detecting the element to be detected; a circuit board for holding the detection element and mounting an electrically operating circuit; and a plate for holding the circuit board and disposing it on an appropriate position, wherein the weight on which the element to be detected is disposed, is slid by vibrations from outside, and the slide of the weight is detected by the detection element. The device for detecting vibration is such that a varying means is further disposed, which arbitrarily varies the position of the detection element, with respect to the slide direction of the weight.
