PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a specific cardiac phase suitable for image reconstruction when the heart of a subject is photographed and the image of the heart is reconstructed by an X-ray CT apparatus. SOLUTION: A difference computing part 304 computes the difference between projection data, for example, data corresponding to the center C of an X-ray detection part 23 for each combination of two projection data with opposite view directions and adjacent to each other in time, based on a plurality of projection data collected through scanning by a scanning gantry 2. Then, a specific cardiac phase determining part 305 determines the specific cardiac phase suitable for reconstruction based on the size of the difference.
