The aerodynamic active front spoiler (10) has a wing (12) that is positioned in an air stream. The wing is provided with a wing positioning mechanism (14). The wing positioning mechanism is attached on a vehicle (16) and on the wing when the vehicle moves forward. The movement of the wing between a primary position, when the vehicle is stationary, and a secondary position takes place when the vehicle has reached an upper speed limit. The wing is moved into the secondary position by an interaction with the airflow.
