<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wirelessly transmit an image signal received from an inside body imaging device via a receiving antenna to an external display unit in real time, and to prevent interference between the wirelessly transmitted image signal and the image signal received via the receiving antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving unit 4 has a receiving section 10 to receive an image signal via a receiving antenna from a capsule-type endoscope 2 put into a subject body, a transmitting section 14 to wirelessly transmit the image signal to an external viewer 7, a period detecting section 11 to detect a non-receiving period when the receiving section 10 is not receiving the image signal, and a control section 18 to control each component section of the receiving unit 4. The control section 18 estimates a non-receiving period immediately after a receiving period for the image signal based on the information on the non-receiving period that is detected by the period detecting section 11 and the capturing timing of the information on the non-receiving period and makes the transmitting section 14 wirelessly transmit the image signal during the estimated non-receiving period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
