MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSOR AND MEDICAL IMAGE DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables the accurate implementation of the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of organs such as a heart.

SOLUTION: A data acquisition part 3 of the medical image processor 1 extracts a heart area from a form image for displaying the form of the subject heart while analyzing the way of wall movement based on moving images of the heart and generates a function image for showing the result of the analysis. A data processing part 4 generates a synthetic image based on the heart area and the function image. In addition, the data processing part 4 generates tomographic images at the positions of the cardiac base part, the cardiac apex part and the papillary muscle respectively based on the moving image of the heart. A control part 2 works to display the synthetic images showing both of the form of the heart and the way of wall movement and three tomographic images on a display part 6.
