PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a fiber radio network that has a fixed input loss regardless of an increase in the number of channels, collects a plurality of light channel components assigned arbitrarily by a wavelength division multiplexing transmission system, and has a function capable of performing wavelength division multiplexing of all channel components into one optical path.
SOLUTION: The fiber radio network has: a remote node that inputs a wavelength multiplexing light signal including a plurality of light carriers and a plurality of light sideband waves, performs demultiplexing to generate a plurality of sets of light carriers and light sideband waves, makes selection from the plurality of sets for composition, and generates a group of light signals, and outputs them (1); a group of optical paths for transmitting the light signal from the remote node (2); and a plurality of antenna base stations, having a photoelectric converter that receives the light signal of the group of light paths and mixes the light carriers and light sideband waves included in the received light signal and an antenna for transmitting a high-frequency electric signal from the photoelectric converter (3). The remote node has an optical path switching device and changes a transmission antenna by changing the optical path (4).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
