The light (10) for illuminating buildings or outside areas (SE) comprises a curved reflector (21) with facet-like segments (14a-14n) on the inner side (30), wherein radial undercuts with regard to the longitudinal center axis are associated with at least some of the segments. The segments have a reflecting surface of cylindrical, spherical or aspherical basic shape. A number of segments are arranged between an apex region (S) and a free end region (R) of the reflector. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for producing a reflector element from a source material workpiece, especially of aluminum; and (2) a tool for producing a reflector element by metal forming. |
