An extension pipe for a cleaner is provided to allow a user to adjusting length of the pipe by pressing one end between both ends of the stop lever. An extension pipe for a cleaner comprises an outer pipe taking shape an outer tube, an inner pipe(200) mounted on the outer pipe, a pair of power source connector(320) supplying the power and a control part controlling interactive flowing of the inner pipe and outer pipe. The control part includes a stop lever(152) rotating a central part to an axis, a stop hook(154), connecting to one side of the stop lever, selectively being inserted into a stop groove, an elastic member(156), connecting to one side of the stop hook, giving a pressure to the stop hook and the stop groove to be connected and a latch(158) compulsively separated from the stop groove by the stop hook.
