<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type water heater saving use amount of high temperature water consumed during operation to prevent freezing of a reheating heat source side circulation circuit and reducing running cost. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water storage type water heater is provided with a hot water storage tank; the reheating heat source side circulation circuit for returning hot water in the hot water storage tank to the hot water storage tank; a reheating circulating pump for circulating hot water through the reheating heat source side circulation circuit; a bath water circulation circuit; and a heat exchanger performing heat exchange between the hot water in the reheating heat source side circulation circuit and bath water in the bath water circulation circuit. The hot water storage type water heater is further provided with a temperature sensor; a bath water detector for detecting presence/absence of bath water; and a control part for executing intermittent operation of the reheating circulating pump when the temperature of the temperature sensor becomes a predetermined temperature or lower, and reducing the amount of hot water made flow in the reheating heat source side circulation circuit when no bath water is detected by the bath water detector compared to when bath water is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
