METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING ORGANIC WASTE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating organic waste material producing a decomposition gas of the organic waste material containing no tar constituent by applying an organic waste material treating mechanism of a molecular level in a low temperature thermal decomposition apparatus of organic waste material.

SOLUTION: In a method for treating the organic waste material comprising carrying out low temperature thermal decomposition treatment of the organic waste material 30 using an inorganic porous material 20 kept at a predetermined low temperature thermal decomposition temperature, the low temperature thermal decomposition temperature is defined within the range of cutting carbon chains or carbon-hydrogen bonds of the organic waste material and preventing production of a tar by recombination of the cut carbon chains.
