PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a box which is suitable for manufacturing a box having good tactile sense. SOLUTION: The method comprises a process of arranging a die material having a rugged pattern in a wall surface of a die, a process of introducing a melted material into the die, a process of curing the melted material to form a molded article and a process of separating the die material from the molded article, wherein it is preferable to conduct a process of laminating a resin film on the die material after arranging the die material on the wall surface and to use as the die material woven fabric having a rugged pattern.
