The device for preparation and use of a hydrogenous gas from water, comprises a reactor (2) equipped with a water inlet (4) and a gas outlet (6), a vapor barrier (7) such as vapor pump, a water dosing valve (8), a water reservoir (3), and a water dosing valve (8) such as stop valve or magnetic valve present at the water reservoir. The water inlet is connected with a water supply (5). The pressure (PR) prevails in the reactor operated by heat, and is greater than the pressure outside of the device. The resulting product gas (PG) of the flame is supplied as secondary fuel. The device for preparation and use of a hydrogenous gas from water, comprises a reactor (2) equipped with a water inlet (4) and a gas outlet (6), a vapor barrier (7) such as vapor pump, a water dosing valve (8), a water reservoir (3), and a water dosing valve (8) such as stop valve or magnetic valve present at the water reservoir. The guide elements, the water supply, the nozzle, and the regulating valves consist of high temperature resistant metal. The magnetic valve is operatable over an electrical control circuit. The water reservoir is made of plastic and/or metal. The reactor is adapted in form and/or size of the flame. The temperature present in and/or outside of the reactor is dependent on an operating parameter of a combustion device operated with hydrocarbon. The reactor adjoins on a high temperature-resistant hydrogen and/or helium permeation membrane, which is a memory membrane.
