A mobile payment method and a system thereof are provided to transmit a notification message quickly and at the right time by using a payer's portable terminal if payment is demanded, so that the payer can easily and simply pay before a due date or immediately by using the self terminal. A guide server receives member information including personal information, and approves member registration(S310). The guide server delivers the member registration fact and the member information to a payment demanding server of a payment demanding institution(S320). A payment demanding message to be demanded to a member is received(S330). A notification message including payment information and payment guide information is transmitted to the member's portable terminal(S340).
