<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make adaptable, particularly to a thin-barrel writing utensil, a whirlstop by means of engagement between a projection of a barrel and a recess of a grip member without increasing thickness of the grip member. <P>SOLUTION: This is a writing utensil 10 in which a grip member 60 formed on a separate body is mounted on the outer periphery of the barrel 11. A shaved-off part 51 thinned planar is provided in the grip part 50 of the barrel 11, and an engaging projection 52 protruding outward is provided on the shaved-off part 51. On the inner periphery of the grip member 60, there are provided an engaging face 61 that matches with the shaved-off part 51 and an engaging recess 62 that is depressed to the engaging face 61 and engaged with the engaging projection 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
