<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by enabling information presentation which is really friendly to a user. <P>SOLUTION: When a body sensor 29 detects the presence of a user associated with this apparatus 11, a main control unit 17 actuates an application for presenting suitable information through a display unit 25 on the basis of the acquired state of the apparatus 11.
