PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist generator which can enhance the cool feeling of mist and also, can be applied even to an object requiring cooling effect as the one subject to mist injection. SOLUTION: A liquid 11 is atomized into microparticles by causing ultrasonic vibration of an ultrasonic vibrator 5, and this liquid 46 of microparticle shape is conveyed to the top of a container 1 by a mist conveyance fan 45 and spurted, in the form of mist 55, from a mist jet nozzle 29. In this case, the liquid 11 is thermally sterilized by a heater 39 arranged at the bottom of the container 1. On the other hand, an air jet passage 49 is formed around the mist jet nozzle 29 and the mist 55 is cooled by blowing air from a blast nozzle 49a at the apex with the help of a mist cooling fan 53.
