PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for soldering an FFC to an electronic component that can reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: In the method for soldering the flexible flat cable to the electronic component according to the present invention, a flexible flat cable having a connection terminal portion with a plurality of mutually unfixed leads for soldering is soldered to an electronic component having a connection terminal portion with a plurality electrodes mutually fixed corresponding to the plurality of leads of the connection terminal portion, wherein a stage of temporarily fixing ribbon solder of predetermined size across the plurality of leads of the flexible flat cable is included.
