PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a circuit board with less restriction in the loading area even when a common board is used; a circuit board device; a cellular phone; and a board connecting method. SOLUTION: The circuit board that can be electrically connected with the other circuit board is characterized in that a common component loading area 29A and an expanding component loading area 29B having a land for loading the expanding component are provided in the one surface, a land for connection is provided at the position corresponding to the circumferential part in the other circuit board at the external side of the expanding component loading area in the one surface, and a connecting component loading area 29C is also provided in addition to the land for connection.
