PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector or the like which is improved in operability of separation and of which inadvertent separation is suppressed. SOLUTION: The electrical connector 1 is provided with a housing 50 of which the front end portion 51 in insertion direction is inserted and separated into and from a hood part 22 of a mating connector 2 having the hood part 22 with a locking part 22a on the outer wall, a cylindrical body 30 which surrounds the housing 50 and is supported movably in front and back direction FB to be inserted and separated to the housing 50, a movement blocking member 40 which is arranged at the back B of the cylindrical body 30 and is supported in free displacement between a blocking position to block movement of the cylindrical body 30 and a blocking release position, and engaging arms 52, 53 which extend between the housing 50 and the cylindrical body 30 and engage with the locking part 22a. The cylindrical body 30 has an engagement releasing part 32 which faces the front part F of the front end portion of the engaging arms 52, 53 and interferes with the engaging arms 52, 53 when the cylindrical body 30 moves to the back and releases engagement with the locking part 22a of the engaging arms.
