PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fluorine-containing amine compound, by which a fluorine-containing N,O-acetal compound can be reduced without using a highly toxic reducing agent to produce the fluorine-containing amine compound in a high yield. SOLUTION: This method for producing the fluorine-containing amine compound comprises reducing a fluorine-containing N,O-acetal compound with a borane amine complex. The borane amine complex includes aliphatic amine complexes, aromatic amine complexes, and borane pyridine complexes independently substituted with hydrogen atoms, alkyl groups or amino groups. The borane pyridine complex is excellent in the aspect of yield, and especially 2-picoline borane is advantageous in the aspect of handleability related to safety. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
