PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device capable of appropriately conveying paper sheets. SOLUTION: A sensor 100 for detecting the passage of a paper sheet is provided near a connection part of each air delivery tube 22 and a common tube path 82, an upstream tube path 102 which is in the upstream of the air delivery tube 22 which is arranged in most-upstream with respect to the common tube path 82 is provided and an opening and closing valve 104 for opening and closing the upstream tube path 102 is provided. A control part 90 controls as follows: When a paper sheet is fed to one air delivery tube of the air delivery tubes 22, the opening and closing valve 80 of the air delivery tube 22 is opened. In the case of detecting that a paper sheet is fed to the other air delivery tube 22, when the sensor 100 detects that the paper sheet carried in the former air delivery tube 22 reaches the common tube path 82, the opening and closing valve 80 of the former air delivery tube 22 is closed and the opening and closing valve 80 of the latter air delivery tube 22 is opened to carry the paper sheet. When the sensor 100 detects that the paper sheet of the latter air delivery tube 22 reaches the common tube path 82, the opening and closing valve 80 of the latter air delivery tube 22 is closed and the opening and closing valve 104 of the upstream tube path 102 is opened.
