PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a failure in which appearance is impaired by a hinge projecting outward relative to other portions and in which, as the case maybe, the hinge and the hand interfere with each other making a transfer tool feel hard to carry when it is held, and also to make the movable range of a first and a second case set at 180 degrees or larger. SOLUTION: A transfer tool A comprises a pair of first and second cases 6, 7, and a hinge 21 which connects these first and second cases such that they can relatively move between a use position S and an open position O, wherein an outer edge of the second case is provided in the outward of the hinge, a portion of the second case located in the outward of the hinge and an outer edge of a hinge corresponding portion 72a in the vicinity of that portion of the second case are shaped continuous with an outer edge of another portion of the second case, and a hinge corresponding portion 62a of the first case is provided with an retraction space SS which can receive the hinge corresponding portion 72a of the second case.
