PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit printing from permission depending on contents of printing data to be printed and a printing authority possessed by a user who transmits the printing data in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a necessary printing authority is set for every preliminarily determined term, for example, "top secret", "development plan", "(development model code)" and the like. When these terms are present in the printing data, printing is inhibited from permission if the user who transmits the printing data does not have the set printing authority. In the case of not permitting printing, notification is performed by an e-mail to an administrator.
