PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush capable of maintaining excellent production efficiency for surface processing such as cutting of burrs generated on a workpiece and the like. SOLUTION: Brush bristles 2 of the brush 1 include brush bristles 2a in an edge normal rotational direction and brush bristles 2b in an edge reverse rotational-direction in which an edge 73 of bristles tip faces in a normal rotational direction t1 and in a reverse rotational direction ht1, respectively. The edge normal rotational direction brush bristles 2a and the edge reverse rotational direction brush bristles 2b are approximately 60% and approximately 40%, respectively. The edge 73 of the edge normal rotational direction brush bristles 2a cuts a left side burr completely by rotation of the brush 1 in the normal rotational direction t1, and then cuts the burr which partially remains during rotation in the normal rotational direction t1 by rotation of the brush 1 in the reverse rotational direction ht1. Therefore, it is possible to properly cut the burr on the workpiece with the one brush 1, thus expediting improvement of the production efficiency. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
