An instrument diagnostic apparatus (201) is provided with a data judgment means (101) that, in the case where instrument information (121) including operating condition information and internal state information is input, compares the operating condition information of the instrument information with operating condition information stored at a database (111) in advance, judges if they are consistent with each other and outputs judgment result information; and a state diagnostic means (103) that, in the case where the judgment result information indicates their consistency, compares the internal state condition information of the instrument information with internal state condition information stored at the database in advance and outputs comparison result information. This makes the possibility of an erroneous judgment result output decrease and is possible to increase the efficiency of maintenance operations.
