A method for the treatment of wastewater by injecting a mixture of coagulants with different basicities is provided to enable a proper turbidity to be removed, thereby prevent excessive input of the inorganic coagulants by injecting a mixture of a low basicity inorganic coagulant and a high basicity inorganic coagulant having a basicity difference of 5% or more, or by injecting a mixture of an inorganic coagulant with a low basicity in the low basicity inorganic coagulant and an inorganic coagulant with a high basicity in the high basicity inorganic coagulant are mixed to a predetermined mixing ratio. In a process for the treatment of potable water, sewage, or wastewater by chemical treatment methods, a method for the treatment of wastewater by injecting a mixture of coagulants with different basicities comprises injecting inorganic coagulants into wastewater, growing suspended solids suspending in the wastewater, forming flocs, and precipitating the flocs. The method comprises injecting a mixture of inorganic coagulants with different basicities mixed to a predetermined mixing ratio into wastewater to coagulate the suspended solids suspending in the wastewater. |
