PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine having a function of stopping/displaying variably displayed identification information by a player's operation, capable of enhancing the player's eagerness for the play regardless of the superiority/inferiority of the player's dynamic vision. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a game board 14 having a play area 15 with a prescribed winning area through which game balls can pass; a rotary reel device 500 to variably display and stop the variable display of identification information when a prescribed condition is satisfied; control buttons 80 to stop/display the identification information variably displayed in the rotary reel device 500 by the player's variable display stopping operation; a variation speed change control means for changing the speed of variation of the identification information variably displayed in rotary reels 510 based on the player's operation of a shooting handle 26 and a shooting stop button 27; and a changing operation enabling control means for the control to enable the variation speed change control means when a prescribed condition is satisfied with a game ball rolling onto the play area 15 in a prescribed period of time while the identification information is variably displayed.
