PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel for an automobile made of a carbon fiber reinforced resin ensuring a sufficient design property of a panel design surface by suppressing generation of deviation and twisting of a superposed carbon fiber clothes, preventing local reduction of rigidity and strength and simultaneously suppressing increase of the weight of the whole panel. SOLUTION: In the panel for the automobile made of the carbon fiber reinforced resin having a superposed constitution of the carbon fiber cloth, the basis weight of the carbon fiber cloth superposed as the outermost layer corresponding to an outer surface of the panel forming the design surface of the panel is larger than the basis weight of the carbon fiber cloth of an inner layer.
