PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the maximum steering angle of a wheel without forming a projection for restriction of steering angle on a suspension arm or the like. SOLUTION: A guide hole 8a extending from the piston 15 side to a piston rod 8 along the axis of the piston rod 8 is formed in a shock absorber 4. A bar 16 connected to a cylinder 7 in a second chamber in the non-extending direction of the piston rod 8 is inserted in the guide hole 8a while passing through a piston 15. A projecting part 20 projecting from one of the bar 16 and the guide hole 8a toward the other is formed on the radially opposed portion of the bar 16 and the guide hole 8a.
