PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the housing of a machine tool, which housing can realize the light weight of the housing and the easiness of manufacturing the housing while securing the stiffness and the noise preventing characteristics necessary for it. SOLUTION: In the housing 3 of the machine tool 1 formed with a plurality of wall members 11 to 16 connected with each other, the wall members are laminated such that a plurality of metallic plates are not fixed to each other.
