PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent leakage of a cooling water which is supplied to an internal space, water channel face and the like to the periphery of an internal forced cooling die insert. SOLUTION: In the internal cooling die insert, a cooling water-supplying block is provided such that its upper surface faces both lower surfaces of the periphery of an external insert 1 and an internal insert 2, and a sealing structure is formed with a two-step configuration comprising outer and inner peripheral packing on the joint surface of the peripheral lower face of the external insert 1 and the upper face of the cooling water-supplying block. Further, on the above joint surface, a leaked water passage is formed and communicates the water leakage-receiving gap face between the outer and inner peripheral packing with a cooling water-returning path in the cooling water-supplying block. Abnormality in the inner peripheral packing is detected by a leakage sensor provided in place on the leaked water passage, and the outer peripheral packing prevents leakage of the cooling water to the outer peripheral surface of the die insert.
