An expansion head type connection structure of foundation piles for ground work having different diameters is provided to heighten economical efficiency by reducing the diameter of a foundation pile which is applied with horizontal load, and to improve constructability by reducing the diameter of a pile main body except an upper pile, thereby reducing the weight of a pile. An expansion head type connection structure of foundation piles for ground work having different diameters is formed by attaching a connection plate(20), which has a hollow same as the diameter of a pile main body and the larger diameter than a pile main body, on the upper part of a pile main body(10), attaching reinforcing ribs(30) on the upper and lower parts of the connection plate and the outer circumference of a foundation pile main body at regular intervals and attaching an upper pile having the same diameter as the diameter of the connection plate to the connection plate to be coupled strongly.
