OPTIC SENSOR FOR VEHICLES

An optical sensor for vehicles is provided to correct infrared rays of sunlight incident to the inside of a car into specific infrared rays and apply the infrared rays to an infrared sensor to easily maximize cooling effect without changing the thickness or size of the existing concave lens member. An optical sensor(20) for a vehicle includes a cover(21), a concave lens member(22), an infrared sensor(23), and a body(24). The cover is attached to an instrument panel of the vehicle and transmits only infrared rays of sunlight inputted to the inside of the vehicle. The concave lens member has a lens part(22a) for focusing the infrared rays. The concave leans member has a plurality of protrusions(22b) at the bottom thereof. The infrared sensor is located under the concave lens member. The infrared sensor outputs a photo sensing signal representing the intensity of infrared rays focused by the lens part through an output terminal(23a).
