METHOD FOR PRODUCING TAR-FREE PROPOLIS, PROPOLIS CHLOROPHYLL, AND WATER-EXTRACTED PROPOLIS FROM ALCOHOL-EXTRACTED PROPOLIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting useful ingredients in good yield from the propolis raw mass, which include ingredients easily soluble in an alcohol, ingredients easily soluble in water and phytospecific chlorophyll.

SOLUTION: The method comprises extracting propolis chlorophyll from dark brown tar and/or beeswax contained in commercially available alcohol-extracted propolis, and extracting propolis from residues formed in the process of producing such alcohol-extracted propolis with 37-70°C, preferably 50-60°C hot water.
