<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase reliability of a diagnostic index which shows an obese state of an abdominal region of a human being. <P>SOLUTION: A dimension ratio of a subcutaneous fat region Fs and a visceral fat region Fo in the abdominal region Hb to the abdominal region Hb is acquired for cross-sectional images G1, G2, G3 showing at least two cross sections in the abdominal region Hb of a subject H. Then, the diagnostic index showing the obese state of the subject H is acquired by comparing the ratio with respect to the subject H with a ratio of a human body model M which is acquired in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
