<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of stably immobilizing single-stranded nucleotide multimer as a single molecular film on a conductive substrate such as graphite in a stretched state. <P>SOLUTION: A complex of the single-stranded nucleotide multimer and alkylamine is made to react with each other on a liquid interface, thereby forming a single molecular film of the complex.
