<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information indicating the actual arrangement of solar battery modules 100. <P>SOLUTION: The photovoltaic generation system includes the plurality of solar battery modules 100 and an arrangement specifying apparatus 104. The solar battery modules 100 include a plurality of IrDA receivers, a plurality of IrDA transmitters, module communication equipment and an 8-bit microcomputer. The IrDA receiver receives the ID of the other solar battery module 100, the IrDA transmitter transmits the ID stored beforehand, and the module communication equipment communicates with the arrangement specifying apparatus 104. The arrangement specifying apparatus 104 includes a communication part and an 8-bit microcomputer. The communication part communicates with the plurality of solar battery modules 100, and the 8-bit microcomputer prepares arrangement information indicating the arrangement of the plurality of solar battery modules 100 on the basis of the received IDs.
