<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit/receive a variable length check packet including a plurality of frame check sequence (FCS) fields after a data payload. <P>SOLUTION: When a check packet transmission flag is raised, a check packet header is created and after header creation, an FCS field is produced and added to the header by an FCS arithmetic section. The check packet is then output and transmitted sequentially from data completely input by the FCS arithmetic section, an FCS packaging counter counts the number of added FCS fields and when the count value reaches the set number of times, arithmetic is stopped. When a packet is received and it is judged as a check packet by a packet processing section, the number of FCS fields packaged obtained from a packet length is judged, the packet and the number of packaging are delivered to the FCS arithmetic section, arithmetic is repeated by the FCS arithmetic section until an FCS arithmetic counter becomes equal to the number of packaging, a result is collated by a check packet FCS arithmetic result collating section, and an obtained collation result is output as check packet information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
