PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of the reduction of a continuous use time of a mobile terminal, with TV picture quality maintained in good condition. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal 10 includes a DTV tuner 20. The DTV tuner 20 performs digital demodulation of a digital broadcast signal received by an antenna 18, and outputs an electric field intensity signal, indicative of the electric field intensity of the digital broadcast signal, to a processor 22. A DCDC converter 24 converts a direct current voltage supplied from a battery 26 into a direct current voltage corresponding to the mobile terminal 10. Further, the DCDC converter 24 includes a PFM control circuit and a PWM control circuit in a switching control section.
