PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer unit for improving image quality by more surely adsorbing an oppositely charged developer. SOLUTION: The developing unit 100 includes: a developer accommodation member 100A configured to accommodate toner having charging polarity to a positive polarity side; a developing roller 101 arranged at the developer accommodation member 100A and configured to carry the developer; a supply roller 103 arranged at the developer accommodation member 100A and configured to supply the toner to the developing roller 101; and a charging member 104 brought into sliding contact with the supply roller 103. The charging member 104 at a portion brought into sliding contact with the supply roller 103 is formed of a material which is positioned on a side of the positive polarity side on a triboelectric series relative to the supply roller 103.
