PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately measure the distribution of surface pressure that acts on an object, while simplifying the structure. SOLUTION: While a voltage application method for a pressure-sensitive member 1 is changed by switching circuits connecting the pressure-sensitive member 1 and an electrical resistance detecting means 2 by a circuit switching means 3, the electrical resistance of the pressure-sensitive member 1 is detected by the electrical resistance detecting means 2. On the basis of these detected values, calculation processing is performed by a pressure distribution calculating means 4, to determine each contact resistance Rc1 to Rc4, in each pressure-sensitive section ps1 to ps4 of the pressure-sensitive member 1, thereby individually calculating the surface pressure which acts on each part of the object at which each pressure-sensitive section ps1 to ps4 is positioned.
