PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To caulk both sides of a connecting part of core plates 15 and tanks 16 on both sides of a core 31 of a heat exchanger 30 at the same time. SOLUTION: A core plate 15A and a resin tank 16A of one tank part formed at one end of the core 31 are arranged at an upper side, a core plate 15B and a resin tank 16B of the other tank part formed at the other end of the core 31 are arranged at a lower side, and each of the core plates 15A, 15B, and resin tanks 16A, 16B are caulked and fixed at the same time with a plurality of projecting pieces 151 formed on the core plates 15A, 15B as connecting parts. As a result, the conventional order of a process of caulking one connecting part to a process of turning the heat exchanger 30 upside down and to a process of caulking the other connecting part is not required, the upper and lower connecting parts can be caulked at the same time, and a process of turning the heat exchanger 30 upside down becomes unnecessary, so that the productivity of the heat exchanger 30 can be improved.
