PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium to be conveyed which is reliably conveyed, and a recording device. SOLUTION: An elastic tape member 58 is pasted on the reverse side of the tray 50 in which an optical disc is set. A discharging roller which is rotationally driven conveys the tray 50 by a force of friction with the tape member pasted on the reverse side of the tray 50 when the tray is discharged during label printing. At this time, because the adhesion between the tray 50 and the discharging roller increases by means of the tape member pasted on the reverse side of the tray 50 and the tray conveyance force becomes larger due to a caterpillar effect, the tray 50 can be reliably discharged.
