METHOD FOR STRUCTURAL HEALTH MONITORING USING ULTRASONIC GUIDED WAVE

A structure soundness monitoring method using guided waves is provided to sense or prevent local damage of a structure to inspect the state of the structure directly and quantitatively. A structure soundness monitoring method using guided waves includes a step(S110) of setting multiple sensors generating and receiving guided waves, a step(S120) of selecting a guide wave mode and an oscillating frequency for signal analysis of guided waves having dispersion and oscillating guides waves, a step(S130) of analyzing amplitude swing of a signal difference received from the sensors to sense whether a structure is damaged, a step(S140) of calculating guided wave propagation time and propagation time according to dispersion when it is sensed that the structure is damaged, and a step(S150) of determining damaged point value.
