A hook of a horizontal temporary member for temporary construction is provided to fix a horizontal temporary member for temporary construction with simple composition and simple manipulation, and to maintain the open state of a grip portion and to detach and attach easily. A hook of a horizontal temporary member for temporary construction comprises a grip portion(1) including an opening to put over a horizontal ring member from the upper part, a pull-out prevention portion(4) closing a portion of the opening and gripping the horizontal ring member, a slide shaft(2) including the pull-out prevention portion integrally at the front end, a support portion(3) inserting and supporting the slide shaft to slide and rotate simultaneously, and a spring(5) mounted between the support portion and a spring bearing installed near to the pull-out prevention portion of the slide shaft and supporting the pull-out prevention portion elastically in the closing direction, wherein an opening retentive pin is installed to the slide shaft to compress the spring and to open the grip portion, and to put the pull-out prevention portion over the support portion to stop at the rotated position, and a slit is installed to the support portion to penetrate the opening retentive pin when the pull-out prevention portion is positioned in the direction of closing the opening.
