CALL SERVICE CONNECTOR FOR HYBRID WIRELESS VOIP USING PSTN

摘要

A hybrid wireless internet call service connector using a PSTN is provided to prevent waste of preparation facilities and improve access convenience of using a wireless internet phone by maximally using existing equipment in a large scaled network for providing a wireless internet phone service. A public switched telephone network connection unit(210) is connected between a line of a wire PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) and a wire telephone, performs a function according to call connection through the PSTN and forms a communication channel with the PSTN. An internet connection unit(220) is connected between an internet modem and a PC. The internet connection unit forms an internet data communication channel with a specific mobile VoIP phone. The internet connection unit transmits and receives data. An internet/PSTN data conversion unit(250) converts internet communication data received through the internet connection unit into PSTN communication data. The internet/PSTN data conversion unit transmits the converted data to an end terminal of the PSTN along with the communication channel.
